Spicy Garden Guacamole

This recipe for Spicy Garden Guacamole starts with a base of our fresh and feisty Rainbow Salsa. Add mashed avocado, lime juice, peppercorns and cilantro and you have created an irresistible dip for your plant-based gatherings. If desired, pump up the spice with a little more jalapeno.


  • 1/2 cup Rainbow Salsa
  • 1/2 cup Rainbow Salsa, blended
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 20 peppercorns, crushed (1/2 teaspoon pepper)
  • 2 large avocados
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/4 teaspoon lime zest
  • Salt to taste (optional)
  • PREP TIME 10
  • Serves 3-4


  1. Skin and seed avocado and add to a bowl. Lightly mash avocado so it still has a chunky texture.
  2. Add 1/2 cup of blended Rainbow Salsa, lime juice and zest, crushed peppercorns and cilantro to the avocados.
  3. Fold in 1/2 cup of Rainbow Salsa. Add salt to taste and mix until guacamole becomes desired smoothness.

Note: You can adjust the spiciness of the guacamole by adding in 1/4 of a jalapeno pepper with the blended Rainbow Salsa.
