Celebrating 8 Years With 10 Special Recipes

A special occasion is coming up for us here at UC Davis Integrative Medicine.

On March 30th, we are celebrating the 8-year anniversary of our program!

chocolate shavingsIn 2011 we launched with the vision of becoming the first integrative medicine program at an academic medical center to focus on plant-based nutrition.

In the beginning, our educational efforts targeted UC Davis physicians, staff, and students. Over time, we expanded to a larger audience of individuals across the globe, who are looking for information about nutrition, health, and well-being.

Yes, that’s YOU!

In the past, we have shared our most important lessons learned throughout the years.

In a similar vein, today I want to share with you my favorite recipes on our website.

These are the recipes I love to prepare for family and friends, including non-plant-based eaters.

Most of these dishes are richer and more energy dense than what I personally consume.

That is because those with less experience with plant-based cuisine are used to particular dishes.

And we have to recognize that everyone is at a different phase in his/her plant-based journey.
