It’s really a beautiful moment to share with those who mean the most to you.
And while Valentine’s Day has always been very special to me, this year is SUPER special and twice as significant…
Valentine’s Day Is Also Our Blog Birthday
Not only is this February 14th Valentine’s Day, but it’s also the 1 year ‘birthday’ anniversary of when we launched this very blog.
And it’s been quite a ride!
It’s almost impossible to believe that one short year ago our blog was an empty shell, waiting to be filled with informative articles, inspiration and YOU.
Because this blog would be nothing else than a ‘library’ of knowledge without your active input and eagerness to learn.
We love how this group has fostered not only ties–love–among each other but has also encouraged everyone to develop another kind of love.
A love for one’s self.
Because the bottom line is this.
By adopting a plant-based diet, you’re giving yourself the best gift in the world–the good old-fashioned gift of self-love.
So we’re excited to see what 2016 brings to our community. And we can’t wait for it to grow even larger and closer together.
Valentine’s Day=Friend’s Day
Everyone always associates Valentine’s Day with romantic love. But in fact, Valentine’s Day is a celebration of all kinds of love.
For example, did you know that in some cultures, such as Finland, Valentine’s Day is a time when you show your appreciation towards your closest and dearest friends? In fact, it’s actually called “Friend’s Day”.
So this February 14th, as our friends, we want to take the time to show you our continued appreciation for you. And for your interest in a plant-based lifestyle.
